Regatta Saturday offers a host of opportunities to get afloat and give sailing, powerboating, stand up paddle boarding or gig rowing a try.
Everyone is welcome and the sessions are all free so why not come on down and have a go. Just wear comfortable clothing, sensible shoes (old trainers are perfect), plenty of sun screen and if you have one a spray jacket/waterproof top. Buoyancy aids will be provided if you do not have your own.
The programme and location for each of the Saturday activities will be confirmed in due course but is expected to include:
Try Gig Rowing with Brightlingsea Coastal Rowing Club and the University Community Sailing Club – from the Town Jetty
Try Paddle Boarding with Colne Yacht Club – from the Colne Yacht Club Jetty
Try Dinghy Sailing with Brightlingsea Sailing Club – sign up in front of the sailing club
Try Powerboating with Brightlingsea Sailing Club – sign up in front of the sailing club
