We are proud to be welcoming the Essex Artists Travelling Sketch Books to the Brightlingsea Regatta Art Trail.
Part of the Essex Summer of Art programme, the Essex Travelling Sketchbooks travel around art trails and open studios across the county during summer. Instigated by artist Karen Jones, they have no agenda other than to be passed from artist to artist to make their own contributions.
Both the 2018 and 2019 Travelling Sketchbooks will be on display in the Brightlingsea Regatta Arts & Crafts Tent at Brightlingsea Sailing Club on 10 and 11 July.
The completed 2018 and 2019 Travelling Sketchbook is spectacular and we look forward to seeing the 2021 sketchbook, bursting with exciting contributions from artists across the region. Do take advantage of this very special opportunity to see the books in the flesh and enjoy the wonderful creative talents to be found in our area.
