Following it’s successful introduction in 2022 the Brightlingsea Regatta Paddle Board Fun Race in aid of St Helena Hospice will take place again this year. There will be two races this year, one for 12-16 year olds and another for 17+. The racing will start from the beach in front of Brightlingsea Sailing club at 3pm on Sunday 23 July. Competitors will paddle around around a short course taking them along the Promenade and back to finish on the sailing club finish line. Entry will cost £5.50 per person with all proceeds going to the charity.
Online entry will open in due course, or you can enter in person on regatta weekend at the St Helena Hospice Stand which will be located by the Hard on Saturday and in the Brightlingsea Sailing Club Car Park on Sunday.

As well as paying their entry fee, race participants are also encouraged to raise sponsorship for St Helena and to encourage people to donate to this most vital service which is entirely dependent on our voluntary contributions.
