Brightlingsea Regatta offers a host of delicious food and drink options and full details of the 2023 offerings will be published in due course. In the meantime here is an indication of what you can expect.
Brightlingsea Sailing Club – with delicious snacks from the bar, a BBQ from lunchtime and a shaded outdoor seating area in view of the creek, this will be a great place for a chilled-out pit stop and there will also be children’s entertainments too. The club bar and stalls will be open from 10am and the BBQ will be running from lunchtime.
Colne Yacht Club – will be bar food in their upstairs bar and on the balcony and their outside Oar Store and Pimms Bars will be open and serving drinks, ice creams and crisps, plus the BBQ will be operating too.
University Community Sailing Club – will also be offering food and the bar will be open from 4pm.
The Coach House Delicatessen – by the Hard will be open throughout the day offering a wide range of delicious gourmet treats.
No 1 Harbour Square – set on the Marina concourse this super wine bar and bistro will be open throughout the day with a view of the marina and typically also offers live music during regatta weekend.
The Yachtman’s Arms – located on Waterside this is one of Brightlingsea’s best loved traditional pubs with a very well deserved reputation for excellent food, a lovely beer garden and a welcoming atmosphere, the Yachtman’s will be open throughout the day.
Golden Wok – on the corner of Tower Street, the Chinese takeaway will be open for lunch and dinner.
Waterside Fish & Chips – on the corner of Waterside and Copperas Road, a traditional fish and chip shop offering both take out and table service
S&S Caribbean Cafe – will once again be located by the Shelter on the Hard and will be serving delicious Caribbean takeaway dishes until 6pm
Youngs Ices – located at Brightlingsea Sailing Club treating yourself to a Youngs lolly or cone is one of the great traditions of Regatta weekend!
Lido Cafe – The cafe at Brightlingsea Lido will be open both days as will the fabulous open air swimming pool, so you can enjoy a cooling dip before or after your cuppa and cake!
Bateman’s Cafe – a walk along the Promenade to inspect the beach huts entered into the Best Dressed Beach Hut Competition wouldn’t be complete without a pit stop at Bateman’s Cafe for a well deserved snack or ice cream.
