Brightlingsea is renowned as a very friendly place and throughout the weekend all three of Brightlingsea’s sailing related clubs will be welcoming the public.
The University Community Sailing Club is located on Waterside and is also home to the ??? Gig Club. The club bar will be open throughout the regatta and there will be opportunities to try Gig rowing based on the town jetty. Need more info.
Brightlingsea Sailing Club is located at the end of Oyster Tank Road, right at the start of the prom. Open throughout the regatta there will be stalls in the club grounds, a bouncy castle, swing seats and a host of fun and games for the children, food offerings throughout the day and the bar will be open from 11am until late. There will be free try sailing and power boating for all ages and a firework night party from 8pm. Need more info.
The Colne Yacht Club is located at the top of the town hard and is also open throughout the regatta with a real ale bar, food offerings, free try keelboat sailing and ??? Need more info
Brightlingsea Harbour Commission’s team will be overseeing the on water activities and Brightlingsea Town Council are supporting the shoreside organisers to ensure everything goes smoothly.
